Raise awareness and support food security in your community with the

Richmond Eats: A Local-Eating Challenge

From August 24 to 30, 2015, staff, volunteers and supporters of the Richmond Food Security Society (RFSS) will only eat produce grown on our island, meat raised by our farmers, and seafood caught by local fisherman.*

This challenge will start a conversation about local food and the role it plays in our community and raise much-needed funds for RFSS.

Join us! Become a Foodie and take part in the challenge, make a donation, and join the conversation through Facebook, Twitter, and on the RFSS blog .

RFSS is a community organization committed to building a nutritious, safe, secure, and affordable food system through education, skills development, research, and policy change. To learn more about projects we are working on, visit www.richmondfoodsecurity.org.

*Each participant is allowed three exceptions to allow for dietary needs or to facilitate cooking (e.g. cooking oil). We will also allow participants who don't live in Richmond to eat from their own gardens! We would hate to see all that zucchini go to waste!
